KPU Voice Mail is an easy to use, cost effective, efficient alternative to answering machines. KPU Voice Mail offers many features that answering machines cannot to give you reliable, digital voice messaging.

Accessing Your Taqua Mail Voicemail

From your own phone:
  1. Dial *83
  2. When prompted, enter your voicemail password followed by “#”.
  3. If you have new messages, the messages will be identified and played.
  4. After hearing any new messages, you will be presented with the Voicemail Main Menu. The Main Menu options are listed below.
From another phone:
  1. Dial your phone number.
  2. When the greeting begins to play, enter your voicemail password followed by “#”.
  3. If you have new messages, the messages will be identified and played.
  4. Or dial 225-3333 and enter your 10-digit phone number to access your voice mailbox. Then enter your PIN number.
To access the Time and Date when a voicemail was left
  1. After you have listened to a message (new or old) press 3 for Advanced Options, then press 3 again to hear the date stamp for the message.
Changing your Voicemail password:
  1. Access your voice mailbox.
  2. If you have new messages, the messages will be identified and played.
  3. To skip the Main Menu, press “*”.
  4. From the Main Menu, press “0” for the mailbox options.
  5. Enter “5” to change the password.
  6. Enter your 4-digit password again followed by “#”, then re-enter the new 4-digit password followed by “#”.
Recorded your personal greetings:
  1. Access your voice mailbox.
  2. If you have new messages, the messages will be identified and played.
  3. From the Main Menu, press “0”. For mail box options.
  4. Select the greeting you want to record:
    1. To record an Unavailable Message, press “1”.
    2. To record a Busy greeting, press “2”
    3. To record a Name, press “3”.
    4. To record a Temporary greeting, press “4”.
    5. To return to the Main Menu, press “*”.
  5. After the tone, record your greeting. Press “#” when finished
  6. If you don’t record a personal greeting, a generic greeting will be played
Hearing your personal greetings:
  1. Access your voicebox.
  2. If you have new messages, the messages will be identified and played.
  3. From the Main Menu, press “0” to hear your recorded greeting.
  4. Select the greeting you would like to hear:
    1. To hear your No Answer greeting, press “1”.
    2. To hear your Busy greeting, press “2”
    3. To hear your Name, press “3”
    4. To hear your Temporary greeting, press “4”.
    5. To return to the Main Menu, press “*”.
Accessing your voicemail for the first time:
  1. Dial 225-3333.
  2. Enter your 10-digit phone number followed by “#” to access your mailbox.
  3. Enter your temporary password (which is your 10-digit phone number) followed by “#”
  4. Then you can enter a new 4-digit number as your permanent new password, followed by a “#”.
  5. Your password is changed.
